In addition to categorizing transactions that are being fetched from the bank, the finX API also offers a standalone categorization endpoint. This allows you to take advantage of the finX categorization engine, without having to engage in the APIs to connect accounts and synchronize transaction data.
The category names are translated to multiple languages. You can get a translated name of the category by providing the Accept-Language header in any endpoint that has a Category object in it's response. For example: /rest/transactions. If we can't find a translation of a category name to the language you provided - we will fallback to the German language (the default category name is also German).
